I think Avatar: The Last Airbender is the closest to japanamation while being a great anime.

No I"m not picking a fight I'm simply stated that a few months ago people arguaed about this before and the official definition was stated on what anime is. It turned out that an anime is not solely restricted to being produced in Japan.

Yeah, Avatar is good, its one of the few that look like genuine Japanime without screwing it up by over doing it.

As for American manga i like it.

Heh, yea. I wasn't too keen on coherence yesterday. I almost passed out for heat exhaustion at work soon after posting that o.o;;

Y'know, I heard somewhere that the Japanese find the term "Japanime" ofensive (or at least don't like it very much). Oh yea, it was in the vidnotes in an episode of Excel Saga (the one where the latin kid does anime in America.)
