Anime may die as a fad and a trend. (I actually wouldn't mind if it did) But true fans will always remain. You may not see that much anime at the mall anymore but if you're true to the art, you'll find it.

Hmmmm... Interesting theory... But it is flawed. You see, anime is a major genre, not a single series. Thus it can't be a "fad" that will die. That's like saying that action movies are a fad and will eventually die. It just isn't true. Plus anime's been around for more than a few decades, that's a hell of a lot longer than any fad I've ever seen...
The point is, if Godzilla 2000 is any indication of their live action sfx abilities... The Japanese will be sticking with anime for quite some time...

The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

That's right too! ^_^
Yeah, you gotta remember that Anime is already 100% popular in Japan. So, it's certainly not dying there. As for here, Anime is GROWING!!!! So, there's no way it's going down!!!! ^_^

Anime is not a fad. There are people who treat it like a fad. They do it only because everyone else is doing it. As soon as they feel the hipe die down they're gone. Luckily Anime has a great and loyal fan base that is not composed of a sad and fickle audience......like pop music.

well I can only speak for myself, but as long as there is anime I haven't seen then I will keep watching anime.

RahXephon is so much better than Eva, they can't even be compared to each other. Stop the comparing!Projekt[Navi] wrote:So what about anime? The Daily Idea : Evangelion. Ever since the success of the anime started and died (no wait its being revived), many other anime have tried to live up to its success, anime such as Dual, RahXephon, Gasaraki, but as said ... " The Original is always the best! " .. yet some anime fans like RahXephon, Gasaraki, or any type of weird ass mecha anime that can call it " The Next Eva " ... the same was said to the Matrix but always failed.
