FMA storyline eps?

episodes that i consider filler

4) A Forger's Love
6) The Philospher's Stone (i think this eps had Barry the Chopper though
9) althought that does introudce Lyra
11/12) like people mentioned it has the two fake brothers in it who come back in later
13) although it features a cool although it could have been cooler a fight between Ed and Mustang
16) although I think thats the episode where Marcoh gets taken in by the Fheur
17) the episode where Ed and Al go back to their home
23) Al wonders if his memories are real and teams up with Scar to help some Ishbalans awww
24) I think thats an episode between Al and Ed of some sort
26) they go to Rush Valley equals boring instant skip (although in the manga Rush Valley saga was cooler)
28) just an episode that explains their training
35) an episode that focuses on Lust good filler though
37) filler but an incrediably funny one the stuff with Havoc in the beginning happended in a side story in the manga)
38) Ed and Al have a fight WOW instant skip

thats all i can think of at the moment.

I wouldn't consider the episodes with Al losing his mind to really be fillers, since they have to do with their accident.

So basically you're saying these are fillers...except for all the imporant stuff that happens in them? :/ And seriously, how do eps 16, 23, and 24 even remotely count as filler? They had some seriously important plot movement involved in them. Not to mention I don't really agree with your assessment of most of those other eps as filler either. FMA is the type of series where if you skip anything, you'll be very confused later on because seemingly small stuff in certain episodes turns out to be highly significant later on.

I agree. Filler is usually "non-important" to the plot. All the episodes you listed are important to the anime plot.
