yes DBZ was originaly done by the Ocean group then redone by Funimation. i wouldnt mind seeing One Piece getting the Naruto treatment.

anyways its the number 1 series to hit japan so there is a higher chance that it will get re-picked up and re-dubbed by a good company then released straight to d.v.d.

Yes, but you forget that most of the older series that are released in America did not have the manga come first. The Yu Yu Hakusho manga didn't come out here until years after the after did. I believe the DVDs were already at the Sensui arc (or at the very least the end of the Dark Tournament) by the time the manga finally came out here.

Hate to burst your bubble, guys, but regardless of what they do with it 4Kids owns the license to One Piece until 2009. No-one else can get their hands on it until then, and by that time I doubt any company will be interested.

Answerman on ANN has had a bit of a discussion going on about it.
