Wow, the girls are cute. Glad to hear Haruhi will be finally coming to the states.

Also, I'd like to say that I actually wasn't impressed by Haruhi in the video clip (and her name means nothing to me because I've never seen any of the newer U.S. sentai series)... to me, in her whole delivery, she sounded too much like an actor and not enough like the actual character.

I don't think they were trying to be 'realistic', anyway. It was quite apparent to me from the start that they were just messing around. More cosplay than any sort of high-grade re-enactment.

Considering that Patricia Ja Lee has played a lot of anime voices already... I would think that she's gonna be playing Haruhi's English voice too.

They were going for the youtube fan-video feel, mimicking the amateur school-project video feel of the first episode, but obviously with live actors. It feels very thrown quickly together. The best part: the hand reaching for the controls of the dry-erase board to scroll to the next page in the very beginning.

I mentioned that the actress playing Haruhi is going to have the toughest part to play. If it is Patricia Ja Lee playing Haruhi in the dub, she needs to be a little more energetic and forthright. I suppose the performance for the announcement video wasn't rehearsed much, probably on purpose. Also, if Patricia Ja Lee is (possibly) Haruhi, and this being a Bandai Entertainment production, most likely ZRO Limit Productions will do the translation, and Animaze will be involved in the dubbing.

I wonder if there is a possibility of a US TV broadcast? Adult Swim?

Lol, for Mikuru, I just chose the one that I thought sounded the closest to the original Seiyuu. I won't influence you by saying which that was though
