Oh shit, you mean I ordered bootlegs? God fucking dammit! Why does this kind of shit always happen to me?

Is there a way to report that website to authorities who give a damn? I don't think 911 is the right number for something like this.

you shouldn't care since you don't like anime anyway.

It's also probably the only one there, amongst all the bootleg sets, seeing as how it got glomped by its new owner with the "buy it now" option.

I swear, there must be a 10 to 1 ratio for these things; Escaflowne bootleg sets go for $30-$45 while legit sets are going for $160 (although I got vol.1 tonight for $10.50). And you're completely out of luck at this point in time for legit Gundam 08th MS Team DVDs on eBay.

Do your homework, watch your pursestrings.

Well yeah, but that won't stop me from liking an anime show. I don't like black and white movies either, but I love Young Frankenstein and Schindler's List. Do you see what I'm trying to get at?

Anyway, it was the only site I could find that had four box sets of Inu Yasha AND the box set of Nadesico, and the prices were SOO good! Actually, when I think about it that way, I probably would have ordered those sets even if I'd known they were bootlegs. What about the Transformer t-shirts? Were those counterfeit too?

If it's Escaflowne you're looking for i know a source that has the Officals for $80 (preregion code). There is one set left and it's mine. Muhuahahahaha!!!

Speaking of Escaflowne, is it any good? I've heard it compared to Evangelion.

I dun like it... no it's average but compaired to Eva... (and just about every other 'A' title, Ranma, Macross, M+...) and the Movie dub sucks, the Movie sub is awesome though ;-p the dub is booooring specially in the begining.

No, no comparison. The movie rocks and the series is like watching rocks.
