Fights that last longer than ever possibly needed...

and yes, the women in the story are about as manly as the men...

Ain't that the truth! I'm a DBZ fan myself, I don't go around going "HEY WATCH DBZ!!" because I knwo it's not that great. In fact, sometimes I want to smash my TV in. There's just something about ti that attracts people. . . .Like Teletubbies. Those things were from some other country, worse then barney, were made for like 3 year old kids, and it had 13-15 year old girls fawning over them. Ugh.

But anyway, every month or so, Toonamit decides to restart DBZ from the very beginning. Which pisses me off. So, since I've already seen those episodes so much times I could say all the dialogue in my sleep, I just don't watch DBZ for however many more onths it takes ot get to the new episodes, and do something constructive. . . . Like make AMVs.

As for the movies, the only two I really liked was the Trunks SPecial, and the Bardock special. It didn't have too much fighting, and just enough plot to kept it going. Not to mention the english dubs were absolutely awesome in both, and the Bardock special's english music was redone so well for the US citizen fans that I wanted to go out and buy the soundtrack. . .

. . . Just in case you were woundering, my reputation was never the same after I went to the store and got really wierd looks.

The only DBZ movie I liked was movie 13: Hildergarn Special. There was actually a good story and the characters were pretty cool. It also makes you think did future trunks get his sword from Taipon in the alternate future same as little Trunks in movie 13.

One thing that pissed me off right away was the art style and the clothing they wear during the show.

Where the fuck did they get those clothes, it's like fuck late 70's attire. Then the shit quality animation and the midget bodies that they all posses with those huge knoggins with giant foreheads. A bunch of them look like Billy Crystals abused love child.

Then... Then we get onto the plot, which is shit. Which basically someone going "you do bad to me I do bad to you, let's fly above a city or deserted location and fight each other in stupid ways and have endless power ups.".

Then you have the creators of the shit music videos, churning out crap to the masses. OMG he set Paper Cuts to the Mejin Bu Vs Vegita saga with no actual editing, but boy is it cool!

Then the fans, who go out and make their inane websites with 100 animated gifs of whoever teh fuck blasting the other. They like to have shitty little character descriptions with everything misspelled. The images on the website use the HTML height/width tags to resize the image instead of actually resizing the images properly, so everything is resized in IE using nearest neighbor which makes it look like shit.

well thats one dbz hater XD

It was one of my first animes and I liked it at first not knowing the difference between cartoons and anime, then I got pissed off at it after playing for over 3 years in repeats as it repeats straight from the begining after playing 30-40 new eps it does this repeat for like 3 times in a row before you see any new eps so it pissed me off its just got up to the buu saga =\

Some ppl will discover anime way better then dbz and go 'I liked that crap?' or something and move on while others don't know what the hell anime is and think dbz is a cartoon and I've tried to get my friends that watch dbz to watch some good anime like eva but they say its 'sucks' 'cos theres not enough action, it has a way better plot then dbz ever did hell its way better the dbz in many ways, but yeah dbz is okay every now and then but it is annoying most of the time, better then pokemon

even though the pkmn games were addictive

So I agree with it being attitude of the dbz lovers -.- some can't be converted...

Other than that, if you can enjoy the anime while looking past all that crap, then good for and I'd have to say it really is the fans. DBZ fans are like creed fans, anyone here not like Creed that's ever talked to a Creed fan?

They ask you all sorts of serious questions about it, but rhetoricaly, and they don't stop. Here's an example of a convo:

I CANT STAND THOSE STUPID PEOPLE! Damn they're anoying. However this is from a music stand point, DBZ fans are very much the same way with anime. They praise it as the best, nothing's better, they think they know everything about it, they ask constant rhetorical questions (but serious ones), and as soon as they answer them for you they're saying how much you must love it too. They're stupid, have no idea what they're talking about, and SO anoying. These Creed fans come in all genders, sizes, and ages, how ever DBZ fans... Tend to be 11 - 15 year old boys that think they're on top of the world.
