Give me a good reason why it couldn't be a girl. In anime there is no guarantee that the character you are looking at is a guy or a girl. Inu Yasha could have just as easily been a girl.

I only read the Manga, and I could still tell by looking at JUST THE COVER PIC that Inu Yasha was a male. Didn't even have to open it to know. Well... I do know my Anime ladies very well....

Well, now that we all know Inu Yasha's gender, I'm sure Miss Yamano would like to continue talking about the series. I've only read the first Manga, so I don't know anything about the Anime....

I've never read the Mangas I would buy them but they're so expencive.
