Jeez and i thought mecha was the term for giant robots in anime. guess i have to watch more to see the difference.

Well Gundams are too big for most of them.

And to explain about the difference between a mecha and a robot is one thing mainly. That robots are AI controled machines and MEchas r controled mostly by a pilot inside.
