Fanfiction writers

I have *never* see a Naraku/Inuyasha fic. Naraku/Miroku, sure, lots of them - they're all over the bloody place right next to the Sessh/Inu fics. But not Naraku/Inuyasha. Strange.

As for Kikyo/Kagome - that would just be weird. They shared the same soul. o.O That's like sleeping with your alter-ego. Like a Youko/ningen Kurama pairing, or that Nova/Hikaru pairing from Rayearth (Nova being her 'dark' side given life). If you share the same soul, then you're worse than related. Any physical relationship would be the equivalent of playing with yourself. o.o

Funny, but still oddly disturbing. Especially since toward the end of the series (and at the beginning), Kikyo isn't even an 'alter' ego - she's very similar in character to Kagome - just more mature and hurt. It would be too 'sister-sex' for me to even think about. >.<;;

I believe in Gundam Wing, that the creators didnt pair anyone up the obvious way is because they wanted to be realistic. Sure big giant mechs are not realistic, but i believe they dont want this war anime to end up like a lot of other war films that involve love and romance. It screws up the whole theme. Sure, some feeling of love between the GW character do show, but that is as realistic as it goes. In the real world, war is war. And soldiers are meant to fight in them, not fall in love with others while they're in the middle of it. The writers of sappy fics and the likes dont get the point. GW is meant to emphsize the theme of war. War is harsh and evil. But war is also nessesary. The GW characters are there to show the point that war holds no bounds. War change lives and take lives. the emotion of love on the battle means nothing. Love itself can trigger unwanted feelings that will bring upon destruction. Love can wait until after the war is over. That is why GW is like that. But sadly, others perfer GW to end up to be one of those romance films like "All's love and war" or "Pearl Harbor" Movies like "SAving Private Ryan" and "The Thin Red line" shows the truth image of war. And it aint glory and victory....

i find Inuyasha and Sesshomaru to be a good pairing. of course i like any kind of yaoi including incest apiring(insert anyflames/insults/comments here ^^; )

i find Inuyasha and Sesshomaru to be a good pairing. of course i like any kind of yaoi including incest apiring(insert anyflames/insults/comments here ^^; )

but inuyasha and sesshomaru are brothers not lovers

We're talking about fanfiction pairings, not canon pairings already present in the anime. Fanfiction is when you add onto the anime or change aspects of the anime to tell your own original story. While I don't like that pairing, it's more inherently original than writing an Inuyasha/Kagome fic about how she got jealous over Kikyo and used her 'sit' command before storming off.

Not to say that people can't do original fics for canon pairings, just that a lot of fanfic writers don't bother to try. They just repeat the same thing you saw in the anime and forget that there's supposed to be a 'fan' in the fiction - meaning a fan interpretation of whatever part of the anime that fan is writing about.

It would make sense that anything having to do with fanfics/YYH/Inuyasha you'd be right in the heart of, Arigatomyna.

reeeeeeelaaaaaaax. I suggest doing something I did yesterday. I was all fired up and ready to rip someone's head off simply because I couldn't do anything more than a Quintuple Jester and a King Jester in the circle... Then I took a couple of hits off a joystick that was floating around (first time in 5 years!) and I realized just how absurdly trivial it all was.

A little friemdly debate is all. ^_~

And anyone who's read 'Wind Done Gone' knows the value of fan parodies when it comes to writing. Defending fanfiction is a worthy and natural pursuit.

has anyone read the sess and kagome pairings? I think its just weird because sess is so cold and kagome is really happy-go-lucky with a short temper (well not to short). I just can't see it.
