What anime did you ever see first?

the first anime that i saw was Akira. i was it like 5 years ago

My first anime was Dragon Ball. It came on early in the morning and I would try to wake up early to watch it. But that was hard to do. I really did not know what it was called, but I liked it.

guess my first was also sailor moon sometime in middle school, although at the time, i didnt know that it was anime or even what anime was.

I can't really remember which came first but it was either the old robotech series, transformers or astroboy when i was about 5

My first anime that I watched and realized it was anime was Ronin warriors about 12 years ago. Of course before that I had watched Voltron, Speed Racer and Astro Boy. I also watched DB and DBZ, Sailor Moon and Technoman (spelled that way by the original releasers) around the same time. Didn't really think much about it back then. It wasn't until I bought Evangelion that I really started paying attention to anime.

It still amazes me how the years go by. I still remember I missed an episode of Ronin warriors because we were late coming back from a trip and I got so mad that I kicked my door out of it's frame. Of course I ran my ass of in order not to get caught.

Speed Racer or Transformers...I'm really not sure.

First anime I got into was Dragon Ball though. First anime I got into with knowledge of the term "anime" was Dragon Ball Z.
