You should know how the movie industry works by now. It's advertisements are all about being flashy and enticing. Rei won't be on the posters unless she's one hot fucking bitch. I'm betting Eva 01 will be on the posters. And as for her being a "nobody." Did you know who anyone was in lord of the rings 1? They wern't exactly super stars, but they all did a damn good job, THREE times might I add.

Grow the fuck up. Everything does not revolve around looks. How many millions of dollars do you think this movie is costing? They're not going to get some "shmo off the streets."

The character in the movie is based on a character the show. Therefore, it stands to reason that the character looks somewhat like the character on the show...because they're supposed to be the same person.

and if you read my original statement, I just dropped my little opinion that I think this thread is full of idiots, nothing more.

"Heartbreaker" (I'm sure by the way), provoked me several times. He wanted to hear my opinions, it's what he got.

BTW, his lat post totaly is total crap. I don't need to explain it, he condradicts himself, and re instates my offensive opinion as his defense. He's an idiot. Or she, w/e.

There is a difference between "being hot" and simply not being an "F'ed-up loser". You're putting words in Heartbreaker's mouth.

Oh yeah, then where's this self-contradiction you speak of? When Heartbreaker said he didn't want Rei to be a nobody, he was talking about her LOOKS, not about whether her actress is well known, as you seemed to think when you brought up the point about Fellowship. And Heartbreaker never once claimed that all everyone cares about is looks. Once again, you're pulling things out of nowhere.

There is no contradiction in the statements:
- Not everyone judges things completely on looks.
- There are plenty of people who do base first impressions on looks.

You know, it's this kind of thread that actually makes me glad that there's no Edit button.

You can read this kid like a book, ofcourse I put the words in his mouth he thought that all other people cared about are looks. But oh look, in his very next post he says that EXACT thing. His defense in the looks being so importent is, "I'm not conserned for myself, but of what other's might think"

And your two dash list, these are exactly the points I'm making to him. Any information that fuels this conversation coming from the other view point, is stated in heartbreaker's posts, not mine.

TO GET BACK ON THE FUCKEN TOPIC the article said that production of the live movie is at the same stage as LotR was seven years before the first movie came out. Eva: Live action could very well see the daylight at 2010 or something.

Remember that producing Eva and LotR are two completely different things though. LotR required alot more footage seeing as it was a trilogy, and the world of Middle earth was also alot more detailed than the evangelion world. I predict Evangelion will hit the theatres somewhere in the fall of 2006.

Anywho. 2006 is a more reasonable date for the movies release, or add campaigne (hah). All I hope for is that the movie doesn't turn into an updated version of the first "Power Rangers" movie.
