My first anime was Card Captor Sakura the english dubbed version. It was okay, but the books are better.

I'll just stick with Cybersix or Samurai Pizza Cats, and soon after, Sailor Moon. May have seen other stuff before, but merely have forgotten the names. (could be thundercats, voltron, etc.., all I know is I was into anime before Pokemon and the Dragonball Shows came out, even if I am in that generation. (now 16 years old)

Battle of the Planets in the 70's (Damn, my age is revealed)

My friends were also watching Star Blazers in the early 80's, but I wasnt following it (or Speed Racer either).

Then I saw Akira in 88, and occasionally watched Sailor Moon while channel surfing in the early morning, but didnt understand it

Then I saw Totoro mid-90's but still didnt know about Ghibli and Miyazaki yet until I saw Mononoke Hime, and then started really getting into it ... saw NGE in 2000 and rented Lain soon after, and the past have years have been devoted to my serious anime addiction.

But I could stop anytime I want to.

No, really.
