I'm probably off in the number (I'm trying to avoid cracking open the DVD; it's been a couple of years since I've seen it), but wasn't it the charges for dress, jewelry rental, catering, etc. (a LOT of etc.), for a grand total of:

149,800 Yen?

That was the last # I remember seeing, although he does have more time to accelerat past that. He did arrive in 2 minutes and 20 seconds huh... I wonder what the distance was...

All right, I'll go. Meta-anime cultural question, sure to get a reply from some of the longtime posters and quick laughs from everyone else.

"Yaoi" is not a real Japanese word. It's an acronym for a certain Japanese phrase that has to do with the roots of the culture/scene. And contrary to popular perception, it's not "Stop it, my butt hurts" ("Yamete, oshiri ga itai").

The question: what is the phrase that 'yaoi' is an acronym for? Either Japanese or English translation will be accepted, both is preferred.
