SD Gundum....to put it simply I want to scratch out my eyes whenever I see it (well maybe not that much) but I wish they would replace it with OLS or something....
1. That was G Gundam...it seems to be an acquired taste (personally, I find it pretty amusing, mostly because of the fact it's kind of a warped tribute to the super robot shows of the 70s)

2. God, do I hate SD Gundam Force for what it's done...
OK...I'm gonna rant on this again...there's an earlier SD series out there, it's weird, it's off the wall, it plays off injokes...but at the same time, it's funny as all Hell...however, thanks to this new SD Gundam Force crap, the odds of our ever seeing it over here seem slim to nil...

OK...sorry...just a little pissed, since that show's kind of taken another down with it...

Well, I don't think the new SD Gundam series was meant to appeal to real anime fans, so I wouldn't want to watch it...but I would definitely want to show it to my kids when they're little! :D (I don't have kids or anything by the way 'cause I'm still in HS, so don't start freakin' out!)

I agree 100% on all of the above...especially the bold part.

I liked the Gundam series, save the Wing, G Gundam, and SD Gundam series. Please note: I meant the Cartoon Network version of the SD Gundam Series. The original SD series was pretty damn funny. Also, the Gundam Evolve OAVs were cool. But, my most favorite Gundam Series is Gundam Seed. Yeah, its the newest, and there are some aspects that are borrowed from the past series, but its just so cool. And where there's one good thing, there's another one close behind; in case you didn't know, in October 2004, Gundam Seed 2 debuts in Japan. If I had to choose out of the older series, my favorite would probably be either 8MS Team, or 0083.

Yeah, when I first heard that we'd be getting SD Gundam, I instinctly thought of the original series (saw it in that anime club I was with in Iowa City). Boy, was I disapointed when this new version came out. Maybe if someone did some sort of petition thing, we could get the original version here in the states.
Probably too busy to be here right now.

I can't wait to see SEED, even though I'm sure CN will butcher it.

Does anyone know the exact date it starts airing?

SEED 2? Interesting...I know someone who saw the original while in Japan and loved it. I wonder where the sequel will take off.

GW was the first Gundam series I saw...so it's one of my favorites. 0083 was also really cool! Ah, good times with disco robots...

I have the entire SEED series, and your friend is right; it IS awesome. I read the report about SEED 2 on Anime Database, I think ^_^. SEED starts airing on CN in April, in their 'Action Block' time slot - I think that means 'Toonami'. I wouldn't worry too much about CN ruining the show - the show is so good, it would be extremely difficult to ruin it.
