I almost cried at the end of Fruits Basket. It was a very good series indeed.

Man the first time an anime made me cry was when vegeta was killed by frezia and then talked about his father and how freiza killed him. That was the first time an anime made me cry

only DURING Rahxephon. I don't weep much. Cept I shed a tear AFTER Green Green. And AFTER FMP, just cuz it was over... (than again after Fumoffu). Oh, I may have weeped over Berzerk's dead image after the Kindred came and ****ed it all up.

It is an animated World War II film by Studio Ghibli (which they made at the same time as My Neighbor Totoro).

The premises centers around two people, a brother and sister, whose father is an admiral in the Japanese Navy and their mother, who is now taking care of them.

After an Allied attack on their village, the two find themselves in many different situations, trying to survive in a land being torn apart by war.

That's the basic premise, without giving anything away.

It is perhaps the saddest, most tragic film ever created. I, myself, have only seen it three times, once on cable and twice on DVD. Since then, I have not watched it again -- not because it wasn't a good film, but that it is a very sorrowful film, one that is a true masterpiece but weighs you down emotionally every time you see it.

It is definitely worth watching, and highly recommended. :D
I personally laughed. Rather, felt like it. Surprised more don't feal this way, I mean it's a documentary kiddies!! Anyway.

Also only part of NATHAT that made me even a little sad (not emotional) was when waserface died. I mean, you don't get attached enough to really care, imo... but she still didn't deserve to die. But (as in Grave) when the whole atmosphere is so somber how CAN you not expect greif so why would you get sad?? Naive. Maybe cuz I idolized Abelia. GREATEST ROLE EVER.

That Rahxephon ep is possibly the SADDEST moment EVER! Than after the movie I felt sad again. See? I'm not some soul-less zombie  .

Funny, anime makes me cry more than anything else.

The main ones that made me blubber are:

RahXephon, Trigun (the last ep) and End of Evangelion.
