Was it My Neighbor Totoro and Porco Rosso? I seem to remember the Giant Totoro making a cameo appearance, and possibly Marco's plane (but my memory's a little fuzzy on that).JHU Battousai wrote:Okay, from Pom Poko:
In the scene where the tanuki form all kinds of traditional Japanese ghosts and goblins, items from at least four other Ghibli movies show up in the background. Name at least two of these movies.

Nope, Pom Poko is three years older than Mononoke and seven older than Spirited Away.Keaton wrote:mononoke hime and spirited away?
That's two of them. The other two are Kiki, from Kiki's Delivery Service and Taeko, from Omohide Poro Poro (Only Yesterday).CliffD wrote:Was it My Neighbor Totoro and Porco Rosso? Hmm, I'll have to break out the R2 to look for them. I never noticed Kiki or Taeko before, and those happen to be two of my all-time favorite films, . . .JHU Battousai wrote:That's two of them. The other two are Kiki, from Kiki's Delivery Service and Taeko, from Omohide Poro Poro (Only Yesterday).
Okay, this question comes from the television series Meitantei Houmuzu (Famous Detective Holmes, also known as Sherlock Hound). Apologies to fans of the original works by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle if I mess this one up.
As with the original works (and many different variations), the arch-villain of the series is Professor Moriarty, criminal mastermind. In this series, Moriarty has two henchmen (or, since all of the characters in the series are canines, henchdogs) -- two brothers who started out as pirates, before joining up with Moriarty. These three are frequently at the center of many masterful crimes -- which are usually foiled by the residents of 221B Baker Street (Yes, even Mrs. Hudson will occasionally join Holmes and Watson in taking down Moriarty and Co. down a notch!).
The question: What are the names of Professor Moriarty's two henchmen?

Woot! But right now, I'm not going to be able to get a new question up for a little while, so I'm going to go ahead and pass.CliffD wrote:Yup! Smiley's the taller of the two. YOUR THREAD!!Tsunami Jones wrote:Isn't it Todd and Smiley?CliffD wrote:
