Yeah, bit of a stretch. This show aired all 18 TV episodes within 2004 (the 8 DVD-only episodes spanned March to September 2005, as the DVDs were released).

Nope. Anidb's episode count search I've found to be a bit broken, especially for the "exactly" button. Series I know have a certain number of episodes and are displayed on Anidb's page as having that many don't show up in that search.

Further hint: Mirkosp's guess of Di Gi Charat was actually a better one than I thought, since its director was also this series's director.

18+8=26. They're mixed together on the DVDs, and ANN's encyclopedia lists 26 as the episode count. Other sites might list the 18 count, which would be stupid and wrong, unless you're only talking about the TV broadcast.

Just noticed that it was jikap's guess... it was the japanese title so I didn't immediatly recall it. >_> Well, I'll wait next hint/screen/whatever... :\
