witch hunter robin on AS? ***SPOILERS***

Why doesn't that make any sense to me? Aren't they witches hunting witches? Like Vampire Hunter D being a vampire or Angel being a demon/vampire hunting other demons? So wouldn't they already know she is a witch? I know I missed the first episode, so did I miss something about that?

no.. not all of them are witches.. their people with "gifts" (i think they call it something else) ...its a coinsidence that Amon turns out to be 1/2 witch too... i dont know exact details.. i havnt seen the rest of the episodes yet so im not sure whats gonna happen... check out witchhunterrobin.com or witchhunteronline.com if i dont answer your questions.. theres more spoilers there that i dont wanna look at.

I do hope that they start going into story arcs soon. That's one of the good things about anime--they do sagas and not just episodes (though some, like Bebop, work best as episodic series). I feel like there's one great mystery about witches that needs to be solved and they really haven't even begun to do so yet...

Yeah, that was Spike's voice coming from the doctor guy who met a sad end at the end of the episode.

Well, the same episode with the doctor seemed to revel a main theme or story arc. Something about destiny and what you will do when you face it. Will you completle your destiny? Something along those lines is what the doctor said to Robin. Sounds like an up coming story arc to me!

\I'm glad I'm not the only person who wondered about this! I read some of the above info in Newtype some time ago, but I really don't get it...I thought they were all at least part witch. I knew the bit about Amon,but I figured with just about all of them having powers they had to have some witch blood in them. And what sets a "gifted" person apart from a true "witch"? I thought it was what they chose to do with their powers.
