My sister is going to watch it with me tomorrow morning. (She doesn't want to stay up to watch it live.)

Thing is she's missed most of the series, so I'll have to update her big time.

Saw it, and I noticed something. In episode 3, the teachers name is Padgewa (sp), but in last nights episode its different (I think it started with an "I"). Aside from that it was full blown goodness, worth the wait

oh my god! i just saw it last night and boy did Izumi leave Ed purple. poor guy i feel worse for Al though seeing that Izumi's furry didnt end in the first round. but it was worth the wait.

i saw it,and was anoyed(I NO I KANT SPEL FER KRAP!!!!)that they put on a show with SO MUCH TO DO WITH THE PAST THAT I HAVENT SEEN YET!!!

It's Izumi... and did they ever say it or did they just have it in on a book?
If it was on a book, who's to say that Izumi Curtis wrote it. I believe HER teacher is the "Padgewa" or whatever you're thinking of.
The reason you at least KNOW it's Izumi is that they have her silhouette in one of the first flashback episodes, when Al is describing how they went off and found a teacher.

Ok, Maybe I just got confused or something, but in episode 3 it said that they learned alchemy from Padgewa (again sp). I'll take a look at the episode again, maybe I misheard something, but that name is deffinentally in there.
