Evangelion Prequel and other eva stuff

Of course its always possible that Anno left that part ambiguous to torture
the fans. But then again, it could be that what D&R implied was true. I
mean think about it, was it so far fetched for Misato to kill Kaji? She did
put a gun to his head in episode 16 [?] and told him that he would be
killed if he continued to poke around.

Anno came out and said that Misato did not kill Kaji. It was just some Seele or NERV Intelligence operative.

Yeah I suppose that particular plot point hasa gotten an inordinate amount
of discussion. At least it's of the intelligent variety. ;D

DUDE! Maya! NOOOOOOOOOOO!! Her and the other two techs were the only characters that I really liked. She was pretty cute. Why does she have to be gay? RGGGGH! *shakes fist angrily* Who the hell started that rumor and what grounds are they based in?

As much as it pains me to admit this, it's true. IMO, I think Maya is the cutest character in Eva (I guess this is better than one of the children ne?). In EoE, when everyone is losing their physical bodies ("popping"), they see their "soul-mate" or something pleasing. Maya sees Ritsuko and it's quite visibly evident that she is very pleased. Ritsuko even goes into embrace Maya right when she pops. I guess you could argue that it's because Maya respects Ritsuko a lot, but I think her reaction is enough evidence IMHO.
