Worst anime ever?

Worst anime I've ever seen... it's a three way tie between:

DEMON CITY SHINJUKU - Oozed idiotic brainless tripe
GRAVITATION - I couldn't egven sit thru the first episode.. all it was was bishonen pining over each other.
AND
NOIR - I watched 5 episodes of this before giving up, hoping it might get better. It didn't.

Gravitation is fluff, and it's obviously not meant for straight guys; why did you even watch it?

Which brings me right on to my least favorite: Love Hina.

Which I never should have even seen, either, since I'm not a horny 17-year-old boy, but my horn-dog roommate (who was, mentally, a horny 17-year-old boy) just HAD to see it.

See, I would just shrug it off as just another bunch of fanservice tripe were it not for three things:

1) It's hyped out the wazoo; everyone thinks it's just the most fantastic comedy EVAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!(boobies)!!!!!!1111 - any time a show has hype, it's that much more irritating when it doesn't live up to it.

2) I actually liked the little comedic device of showing InsertSelfHere's thoughts that they used in the first episode. However, they never used that device again. I was disappointed.

3) Pedophilia != funny. I'm not amused. Yes, no surprise there, moving on.

Basically, like Gary's comment about Gravi - all it was was some dork bleeding out the nose and "accidentally" falling on some chick's boobies. Uh, woohoo.

Definitely not made for my demographic.

Hey now. I like Fake. I like Kizuna. I have no prob with homosexual romance.

The point is that the "romance" in Gravitation is STUPID! It's pointless constant pining. I mean, look at the other shows I mentioned...

Fake. It was funny, it had action, and the relationship between the two was cool.

And then Kizuna. It was a serious romantic show, just that the romance was between two guys. Nothin' wrong with that... It's just that Gravitation SUCKS!

I still have one ep left on the first disc to watch. Thankfully I won the disc and didn't pay for it. 8) I think it would be at least a bit better if they didn't show half of the first episode again every single episode in flashbacks...

Something else I remembered that I would be quite happy never seeing again would be "Venus Wars". That and the original UY dub. *shudder*

Actually you know what THE all time WORST anime series is? Hands down, Cardcaptors. The dubbed version of Card Captor Sakura. o_O

Though I've fortunately never actually seen it (though I may have seen it on the shelf in Blockbuster a looooong time ago....), I think there's probably one worse than Cardcaptors, if we're talking about Macek'd anime:

Warriors of the Wind.
