Also when they were calling each other fat, yeah, "Blubber butt angel" is a great insult.

As a whole, I don't think there is anything wrong with their writing style, but what does annoy me is how some of the situations are so cliched.Rei Chan wrote:I think that CLAMP is great at drawing but they need to work on their writing and their ideas.
A scene from just about any CLAMP series:
Character #1: "#2, I have a confession to make."
Character #2: "Yes?"
C. #1: "There's this secret I've got that I've been keeping from you, but I think it's finally time I told you."
C. #2: "Well, what ever it is, you can tell me. I'm all ears."
C. #1: (deep sigh) "Okay. The secret that I want to tell you is tha..."
Character #3: (from out of nowhere) "HEY! For some strange reason, I had this over wellming urge to act as a distraction!"
C. #2: "Really? That's amazing."
C. #3: "Yeah. Let's walk this way."
C. #2 & #3: (walking away) "La-la-la-la-la-la-la."
C. #1: "Wha...where are you going? Hey! I'm talking to you! Oh well. Better luck next time."
Probably too busy to be here right now.

Ahem...Toya, Yukito, and Nakuru(?) in CCS: Master of the Clow.
I like CLAMP'S writing style, probably because it's the sort of stuff I like to write. Their artwork is really amazing, though. I showed some to a friend who loves to draw and she really liked it. I think she's been trying to draw similar stuff.

Two years?! Ah, well, I guess I shouldn't say anything...I'm still working on a story I started writing in 5th-6th grade. And I'm a junior in highschool now. Blagh.
I remember this one time I started reading a manga in my english class...everyone around me started asking if I was a lefty. I wasn't aware that they specially made books for left-handed people. Apparently, they do.

I was pretty surprised by it too.
I had to explain that it was a JAPANESE COMIC. Then I had to put up with people asking me "Wow, you LIKE that stuff?" It was seriously aggravating. Everyone in my class knows me as the writer-person and assumes I'm some sort of intellectual.
"Yes, folks, I do read comic books...so leave me alone, damn you!"

Heh I just learned today that I can use plot lines from graphic novels on my literature exam. I don't if I will, but I can. 8)
I did a Chobits analysis for lit once as well. Mwaha....yes well anyways....
I have an insane urge to read Wish over again....though it's going to make me cry at the end again ...
