What anime did you ever see first?

Started with Voltron: Defender of the Universe (and Transformers, but it's more "American Animation in a Japanese Style" than true anime)
I didn't really go hardcore until after I collected some of the older ones, like Battle Angel and Grave of the Fireflies.
Since then, my list spans well over 100 titles now (over 150 if you count the individual DVD box set collections as separate items):

The first anime I watched while thinking "yeah, this is anime" was Tenchi Muyo. Tenchi Universe, actually.
But way before that, years before that, I watched Noozles (or Fushigi na koala Blinky if you're hardcore), never suspecting that it wasn't an American show. One thing about the show that I always really liked was that it was episodic, but still had an overarching storyline: two magic koalas from another dimension (!!) come live with a little girl, but by the end they have to go back. Or something. This was like 15 years ago that I saw this.

I haven't read all the messages on this, but my first animes were Speed Racer, Marine Boy, Astro Boy and a great show called Raideen. When they were first shown in the USA, I believe. Am I dating myself? heh heh. Prince Planet, Eightman (Eighthman?) were faves too. Those are the ones I remember watching, on afternoon tv and on the (I think) Fuji TV network. I stopped watching for awhile, then got the chance to go to Japan in the early '80s where I caught Cyborg 009 and the original Gundam series, and got involved in watching anime again.

Tenchi Muyo or Sailor Moon.
Wait, technically I guess it was Speed Racer.
First anime I saw in a theater was Spirited Away.
