I know how to spot a bootleg, I read the link this thread gives, and found two other sites with usful info. www.animetourist.com/article.php?sid=785 & http://www.jazzmess.com/merch/bootlegfaq.html#more What I meant in that question is what cons allow bootlegs. I know ani-magic had a lot, and when I talked to someone they said, "It looks like they let the bootleggers in." So, that mad me think that some cons try hard to disclude them while others don't care, so what I want to know is which cons have a lot of bootlegging boths, so I don't go to them, or if you are fearful of other people going then tell me which cons really try to get rid of bootleggers. That is what I wanted to know. Thanks!

I dunno if ebay does anything about it, but, I just reported the bootleg I accidentally bought of "Please Teacher". I told them I took it as a loss and bought the real set on Amazon anyway, but , I figure maybe they can do something about it.
Worst part is the guy selling them has people leaving him feedback saying stuff like "Great H.K. DVDs! Better than paying for the U.S. Release!" So it's blatantly obvious he's selling bootlegs and people are even INTENTIONALLY buying them, whats up with that.
