The answer to this question is a particular program, but the question comes straight from the quack experimental anime Excel Saga. You have been warned.
In one of the episodes, "Koshi Rikdo" gives Nabeshin approval to turn Excel Saga into a detective anime. The scene here, involving Nabeshin and Rikdo, is a spoof of a famous anime series (Excel Saga spoofing anime? Say It Ain't SO!!). In fact, at one point during the approval process, Nabeshin does something that would be considered a spoiler to a MOVIE from this particular franchise!
The Question: What anime series are they spoofing in this particular approval scene, and what motion picture of this anime series are they showing a major plot point? (PLEASE don't say WHAT the plot point is; just name the movie!)

You are absolutely correct!! Now Nabeshin, it could be argued, is ALWAYS spoofing Arsene (sp?) Lupin III (or, at least, they go to the same tailor ), but in THIS scene he's being chased by "Old Man" Zenigata . . . er, Rikdo. And Yes, there IS a Cagliostro spoiler here (No, I'm NOT going to tell you what it is! See Castle of Cagliostro first!!).Joykiller wrote:Lemme take a stab: Lupin III & The Castle of Cagliostro
Gaav, you correctly identified the name of the episode. However, since Joykiller gave the correct answer, the thread goes to them.

We have a WINNER! And I agree, it's a GREAT series. The odd thing is that まま~ seems to be more common than まも~. I always thought it was the latter too, but it seems to be the less popular way. まも makes buckets more sense though, so I'm sticking with that. Thanks for the correction. The Kanji was correct at least right? ;^_^JHU Battousai wrote:Devil Hunter Yohko or Mamono Hantaa Yohko (Yohko could also be romanized "Youko", and Hantaa as "Hunter")
Fun series. ^_^
As a note, though, your kana's a little off. The correct spelling is: まものハンターようこ.
Reguardless, it's all yours ばっとうさいくん!

Okay, CLAMP question!
The lyrics for Anata Dake no WONDERLAND, the song used for the music video CLAMP in Wonderland, were written by Naomi Tamura and the song was actually sung by Nanase Ohkawa of CLAMP herself (who wrote the lyrics for several other CLAMP series songs).
Naomi also wrote the lyrics for and performed songs for another CLAMP series. Which one?
