Hmmm.... it coming out in 2010, I wonder if that will give me enough time to FINISH THE DAMN SERIES. It's the only anime that my dad offcialy banned from ever entering the house again. He just HAD to watch end of evangelion because it was in my CD rom drive. I had the entire series on CD, and he told me to throw it out (Aren't you happy I gave it to you Crazy Otaku?).

I move out in a year, I'm waiting for the directors cut to come out (if it isn't all ready), then I have to save up half a year pay. I'm sure I will have seen it by 2010.... at least I hope.

Make Yui, Fuyutsuki, Sensei, The Guy On The Plane, and most of Tokyo-3's civilian residents asian; make Rei, Kaworu, Gendo, Ritsuko, Kensuke, and one or two bridge bunnies white; make Asuka, Shinji, Misato, Toji, the other bridge bunnies, and a few minor characters <b>half of each</b>; and let the audience sort it all out.

Sweet! Under that plan, I could be Shigeru or Kaji...

(Of course, Shinji fits my personality best, but I'm too old to play him even now, never mind a few years down the road.)

I wouldn't say the Evangelion characters would look non-Japanese. That's just because they're anime-ized. Notice that in most forms of anime, the most typical of Japanese features are often left out, allthough it's often easy to deduce that said characters are Japanese or asian.

I did notice that, for instance, Shinji's skin color is noticeably darker than Asuka's when they're in the same shot together (and Rei doesn't count because she's an albino)...
