Argh. You can watch anime anytime, it's just TV, you can watch figments of artists imagination play out fiction, or live a real life, with real friends. But hey, MrOni, go to cons wearing your anime t-shirts and have the best sex of your life struggling to hump a blow up doll with Lum's picture taped to it. But then you'll never know how good life can actually be, and you won't care obviously, because you have anime and without it you might as well not live.

why does sex always get involved in these descussions? .... am i the only one who can hump and watch anime at the same time? ( not at the same time , you get the picture)
...the problem I see a lot is that many good amv makers think they suck, and many bad amv makers think they're good.
I've seen it happen, man! I've SEEN IT!..

Wouldn't, you mean? Eh, it really is starting to depend on the anime for me. For example, I can get really into Love Hina or Inuyasha, and I watch them if I'm feeling down. But I only watch Excel Saga sometimes because it annoys my parents, and they let me go back on the computer if I'll stop. Then, there are some animes, like Cowboy Bebop or Eva, that I watch because they are classics, and even though I still know what happens, it's just as cool everytime. It's that my regular life is boring, it's just that it's different. For example, Love Hina gives a pretty good idea of some parts of Japanese culture. I mean, some hard core fans could probably fit in in Japan just because they watch so much anime. In a sense, you can learn from it.

I love how it's so unknown really compared to Holywood films it makes it more personal like the characters belong to me. When it gets right down to it everyone who waches anime watches it for escapism. No one could convince me that they'd rather be working or living their own lives rather than that of their favourite anime character.

Uh oh. Hope JAOP doesn't see that. Honestly, I only ever really think of animes when I'm watching them, or bored, like before I fall asleep at night.
