i'm a lazy bastard college student. i watch anime to wait for chinese/pizza to come and to watch it during pizza/chinese. its something to do thats not interactive, and it doesn't require as much time at once as a movie. last year, anime was all i ever did but senior year in high school was a different time in life. nowadays i seem to have some kind of strange ADD, i couldn't seem to sit past three eps in a roll. i guess dorming during college gave me more of a social life, such that anime is now a concious effort instead of something i jet home to do. oops, oh well.

[And if I haven't answered the question yet, it's because I like movies in general; anime is part of my not-so-balanced diet of escapist fluff. 8) Besides, I like a little bit of nonlinearity or mystery, or having to figure things out as I go along, and a lot of anime plots are structured that way.]
