Nope. She carries a number of them, as shown in the first few minutes of the movie, during her forray into the forest.

Majo no Takkyubin (aka Kiki's Delivery Service) Question. (Hey, I'm in a Ghibli mood.)

Late in the film, Ursula invites Kiki out to her place in the country (we find out that it's so she can draw that picture of Kiki -- NOT nude, as Jiji pondered!). On the bus ride out of the city, Ursula offers Kiki . . . What?

 I'm pretty sure I'm right so:

What is it that Kaoru does for Aoi when they first meet at the station that he had done for her once before?

Yup, you were correct. So it definitely IS your thread.

He fixed her sandal (the strap broke; just like Kaoru did w/ little Aoi's sandal years ago).

But, it looks like Kalium beat me to the answer (by seconds). Rhyevaln, please confirm.

Thank you.

Now, my question: Ghost in the Shell, for those familiar with the genre, was obviously influenced heavily by an American book. Now, what book was that?

Check that, let's just say 'western', because apparantly the author isn't American.
