lol, nice

btw, was skimming through again and noticed that aside from archer, no one seemed to care about the identities of any of the heroic spirits. In the TV series when someone was revealed it was OMFG it's _________!!!!!!! In this movie it was like "Oh, there's a new hero shooting off lazers and stuff...so what" In fact, I don't think they even mentioned the identities of anyone except castor, and the two archers.

Well I don't recall getting all surprised over what hero they represented in the series. xD But I believe you're right in the fact that they mentioned who they represented more in the TV series than in the movie.

Well i the TV series was the first time i was introduced to the series. I was convinced Sabre was joan of arc or something, then she pulls out a big shiny sword and yells out $$$$$$$$$!!!!!! and shoots out a huge lazer and I'm going OMG she's %%%%%%%

maybe it's just me but that was one of the highlights of the TV series for me, in the movie they never even mentioned her name. To anyone who has never been exposed to Fate/Stay night before seeing this movie they were probably going WTF when she uses her noble phantasm at the end.

semi-answer to above
Spoiler :
shoot, it's been a while since i did the VN. but from what i remember i think mordread (her "son") is not actually her son but the son of morgana who is somehow related to her but he was brought up as arthur's son. The VN goes into a lot more detail on her past than the TV series. when arthur (or artura is her actual name i think) drew the sword she stopped aging. that is why she could get away with looking like a young man and being remembered as a male king as she had not quite "developed" yet. She's supposed to be slightly younger than shiro i think in terms of her apparent age.

Zephyrstar might say
Spoiler :
Saber is Mrs and Shirou is the Mr! You know, j-j-j-JAM IT IN!
People don't read the classics anymore?
Spoiler :
Mordred is the child of Arthur and Arthur's half-sister Morgause in most of the legends or famous compilations such as Sir Thomas Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur. I don't recall anything even being mentioned about which flavor of the original legends Nasu pulled from. I think Mordred was just mentioned in one of the regrets dreams

Well, it's hard to cram the VN into 105 minutes... The VN had a lot of material that helped it build up to the climax while the movie cut everythign out except the battles and action so it seemed like it was happenign continously... Generally, the VN adapt better into a TV series then a movie, but then again I suppose it was good for Fate/Stay Night fans that they even made a movie..

As for Heaven's Feel, I not really sure that would make a good series as the story is a lot slower and much more darker
