Actually, I belive ADV will eventually rerelease the series with digital masters.
Here is my logic...

What's sad is? That little peice of humor is fairly truthfull. The otaku have to much money to spend. Personally, I like the wonders of Fansubs, with an Mpeg encoder, an SVCD template, and a CD burner. ^_________^

Ego trips are fun, but not when they're full of self proclaimed marshmallow bears. Waka waka waka I'm a fucking muppet. Elitism is fun, but it only works when you're better than someone, Milo is not, therefore it does not work. Thereofore I am a fucking muppet, waka waka. I read the bible and the klababalalalham or whatever it is, I beleive that god is in my trumpet of holy rightgeous musical infamy, now where is my bear costume, I need to go sell some giant mackrel to the peasents in the village square.

Buckley's is the shit. Stop thinking that EVA is so much more than something that a depressed weirdo wrote when he was off his meds. Put enough whacko's in a room and one of them is bound to come up with a religious based monsterfighting story with a bunch of paralells to the bible and the kabaklalalabah or whatever its called. While the show in itself is creative, it sucks, its nothing that special, its all just a tv show, made to get money, theres no changing that, its a bunch of lamwad westerners who start paralelling it to the bible because they have nothing better to do. if I wanted to see a kid whine because he was such a dumbass wussy I'd go outside and look at the kid I always kick in the head for being just that. It's free too. And tons better than something like EVA which I actually have to spend money and time buying and watching respectfully in that order.

btw i do agree with most of your post. it is a tv show, not much more. but it is a great tv show that deserves the recognition that it's getting. and so that this is not turned into a rant, i would rather not have an eva prequel. i don't think it's necessary for everything in life (or anime-life) needs to be explained. it's better sometimes for ppl to use forums (such as this one) to discuss their opinions and see what they come up with as a whole.
btw, thnx Milo for posting those links between lillith and her children and the 3 children, sounds sweeet. but if lillith was the 2nd wife and Eve was the 3rd, who was 1st?
