Sounds like my kinda thing , at one point I was going to be in the RAF passed all the tests excpet one the bloody eye test . They wouldnt let someone be a fighter pilot if you wear contacts or glasses, oh well.

They wont let me fly a plane because i only have one working eye. I can still see better them most people but on the account of that accident I was told no flying for me.. Atleast they let me have a licence..

Ugh.

We watched episode one at TAS, and nearly throttled the president when he wanted to put on episode two. It's the kind of show that really, REALLY pisses off anybody who knows about how 19th century battle worked...not to mention the huge, gaping holes in the laws of physics that would accompany the battleships....

and steam powered muzzle loding muskets? What the fuck...and don't get me started on fighting in line or the usual "flat characters ugly 3d mechanical things" animation from Gonzo...

Unfortunately, the current season in Japan's been pretty weak overall. If you're looking for cool stuff, try a few shows from last season like:

GetBackers
Spiral
Someday's Dreamer

or heck, find some stuff that's really old but still new to you like:
