Best Buy are fuckheads...
The listed rebates for computer parts [ya know price tags] all have the WRONG item above the tag...
Don't those idiots know that the items on display MUST match the tag beneath?
I lost 80$ getting a 120Gig HD... [as in I didn't get a rebate!!! ]
FUCK YOU BEST BUY, YOU CAN GO TO HELL!!!
(though I may buy my vid games from there, I'll just get my computer parts from your worst enemy, Circuit City/Target, again, Fuck OFF Best Buy...)
OH yeah, I always get my anime from Suncoast [so they're not as cheap as Best Buy but at least they're on time...] That and Best Buy's customer service is gay and the Suncoast I go to has hot girls working there...

You can get cheap R1's from Ebay. I got the NGE Boxset Plus both movies for 105 after shipping. Better than the cheapest online site and much better than like Best Buy and Amazon. If you just wait and keep checking, you can usually get R1's for around 10 dollars a dvd or less depending what condition they're in. But you have to worry about the sellers and problems and things like that. Well worth it imo though.

I got my Cowboy Bebop movie at Wal-Mart today. WAL-MART, people. I know in some places near you Wal-Mart sells anime, but where I live, that is far from the case. You never find much anime at Wal-Mart. It is mainly Cartoon Network shows, and Dragonball/Z/GT stuff. Unless it is something where it gets released by Disney (Spirited Away, and whatnot).
I couldn't find Cowboy Bebop the movie in the stores I checked, so I checked in Wal-Mart. Guess what my eyes saw...Cowboy Bebop. It was just so unusual to find Wal-Mart selling this stuff. But, Wal-Mart had it, and they had three left, so I bought myself a copy. Plus, Wal-Mart has pretty cheap prices, so this was cheap to. It was about $25, and this is in Canadian money, too . Major League hell yeah right there. So, I own it now, all thanks to Wal-Mart.
Though, it really isn't THAT hard to find anime. I can find shows in places like HMV, A&B Sound, Futureshop, and the Superstore. Those places, I'm sure, would have had the Cowboy Bebop movie.

Actually I first saw like 5 mins of Eva at Target once. It was the first ep when shinji saw Unit 1. But they didn't have any eva there... It was a coupla yeasr ago though.Satomi wrote:If there is a Target store nearby, you could find one there. That's where I found mine. It suprised the hell out of me because usually stores like that think that anime is only Pokemon and Dragonball Z. Just keep looking and you'll find it. If worse comes to worse, internet. =D

Shit I feel for you lethalanime. I too was dissapointed. Oh yeah about FYE and Best Buy here's the thing. For example if I were to buy Cowboy Bebop session 1 on DVD at FYE thats 30$. At best buy it's 20$. Better deal at best buy, worse selection. Worse deal at FYE, better selection. Life blows.
