Favorite Genre of Anime?

I like science fiction, kind of like Akira, or Neon Geneisis, but I like action and drama, like Trigun, and Jin-Roh

Either comedy or action....wait.... aren't those the only two genre types in anime? OK, close to. In that case, I like shoot-em-up type of shows.

My favorite genre is "cool"

basically it can be any type of anime as long as it can draw me in and keep watching tell the end of the story line.

This is done by, character design, story desing, blabidy blah, ect.

Saying a favorite genre kind of discriminates the other animes that could be great but be in in a different one, adleast thats what i think

my fave types is action, comady, and si-fi
like DBZ,inu-yasha,cowboy bebop,and yu yu hakusho
I also like some of the game type anime
like yu-gi-oh!

romantic comedies that have action in them, but also like mecha, guess I really don't know.

The animes that top my favorites list are: Noir, .hack//Sign, and Lain.. is there a special catagory these fall in?
