Exactly. What anime? And what about the DBZ plot? Can you defend the fact that all it is made up of is sweaty cut and bruised musclemen grappling and hitting each other? And i said they say names of attacks at the begining of the series and back in DB. In DBZ there is no drama/romance/monkey feces throwing/terror/booty shakin. It's just mindless violence. And the villians are evil for evil's sake. No ideals behind it, they just like mindless chaos. Let's compare:

Trigun: Knives despised humans because he was a plant creature, and he wanted to get rid of a rival species.

Cell: Created to destroy. Robot destroy, obey master, destroy, destroy, system shutdown

B:

Hellsing:

Incognito: To cause chaos and to overthrow humanity and take his seat in a throne thanks to an anctient demon god

Frieza: High pitched preppy with lots of power.

There's just no comparison.

Hey Im not saying that DBZ is the best, what im saying is it doesnt suck.

Animes I believe do suck:

Fushugi Yugi - crappy love story, flashbacks every 5 seconds

Evangelion - shinji has serious mental problems, the entire end of the
series sucked

Other ones I cant think of right now because i blocked them out of my mind

Don't hurt your head thinking about it, just enjoy yer lil cartoon and let it be. If you enjoy mindless violence, go for it, but some of us enjoy a plot that doesn't involve monkeys beating up on space critters that look like Kirby.

And the villains in DBZ did have motives

Why do you put me up on this pedistool? It just feeds my gargantuan head. Anyway, i watched DBZ cuz i loved DB, and at first, DBZ was cool, but then after Frieza saga it all went down hill. And like i said:

A: three villians in series, first is frieza, goku saves the day, second is cell gohan saves the day, third is buu, the ppl of earth save the day, goku helped once, wow, a whole one major time

B: screaming gets the blood flowing, don't u ever scream or shout if ur in a fight, i doubt u just fight silently unless ur a martial arts expert fighting a novice, and they use energy, kinda like fire, fire hurts, ppl die

C: who ever said that the earth was a basis to compare power to, it doesn't mean anything if a person can destroy a planet, cause that just means they have enough power to do it, it doesn't mean that they're omnipotent or anything, u shouldn't use the earth/other planets to compare power, also planets are different sizes, so it's no use trying

D: the same answer for A, goku does not always win, ur saying the same thing over again, plus he loses sumtimes too, he does not ALWAYS win, ex: android 19, kid buu, perfect cell, u want me to keep going?

E: drama is in the buildups to the final confrontations, romance i agree is not there all the time, but so what, eva didn't have much romance, and what is romance besides an illusion anyways, not even dbz was ever said to be a romance, why should dbz be it, and bringing sumone bak from the dead is not as easy as u make it seem, in case u didn't know, it took almost the whole (original) series to bring bak piccolo, and yamcha/tien/chaotzu were never brought bak (original being when it was going to end with frieza)

F: aren't sum of the inu yasha characters beast type ppl, and i'm not saying i condone beastiality, but they're at least both mammals, even big foot got himself a lady, why not saiyans, and besides, no saiyan women exist anymore, besides pan at the end of the series

G: the goku frieza fight was the original climax of the show, it is only right that it is a good fight, but i can't defend the thing about the planet only taking 5 minutes to explode and yet they went episodes with it, but still, u can't use this example because IN THE SHOW frieza himself admits that he was wrong with his calculations and that namek was lasting longer than he thought it would

Cell did NOT simply or at all follow orders, he was destroying for the joy of rebellion and the hatred of humans/saiyans and their inferiorities, not because dr. gero told him too

Incognito sounds kinda like vegeta/paragus (brolly's dad) to me

Frieza was the character in the series that was a true terriorist villian person, he was a spoiled little brat that had a superiority complex, thus a villian

and about the comments about moves, mrjize was saying that dbz is just like other shows in the sense that they ALSO say the names of the moves they use, i don't think he was saying that dbz was the exception to this

and nrjize, i think u sadly underestimate evangelion and also misunderstand it, take dwchang's advice, and re-watch the series (if u've even watched it once to begin with) and have a more open-mind this time
