Beyond her stuff, I really like the opening theme to Lain and, for some reason unbeknownst even to me, I find myself turning up the volume whenever the song "It's Gonna Rain" by Bonnie Pink comes on (it's one of the Kenshin closing themes). Oh, and there's this song by Vox--they do this really great rap based off Eva to Pachelbel's Canon in D.
The mind boggles.

Hehe... part of the glory of that song is its inherently scarring nature...

The Berserk OST = Awesomenicity

And whoever mentioned Record of Lodoss War: Chronicals of the Holy Knight is very right.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

I should also mention "Driver's High" from Onizuka. I just love that song. Too bad they replace it partway through the show with a blues version. :(

Hmmm, I really, really love the pillows, not just their FLCL stuff but ALL of their stuff. They're one of my two favorite bands. *The other being Reel Big Fish* Hmmm, anything my Yoko Kanno is friggin' awesome. I've kinda been obsessed with the Azumanga vocal collection . . . Evangelion music is always good . . .

I guess I'm just gonna go with the pillows and Yoko Kanno right now.

Chico: That was the greatest shot I've ever seen.
Britt: The worst! I was aiming at the horse.

The Escaflowne OST (4 CDs) - Yoko Kanno is truly amazing and having Maaya Sakamoto sing on a few songs is also a plus.

Totally off-topic, but Savia, you watched Escaflowne right? I remember you and Atomic hadn't, but don't remember which one of you finally did. I have a bad memory.

Wow, I had no idea Yoko Kanno did the soundtrack for Escaflowne.
These songs you guys are listing, do they have vocals or are just musical pieces?

I watched the movie (which I have now almost entirely forgotten) and the first episode at a friend's (on atrocious HK, at that >_<), and it looks decent, but right now I'm 1 disc away from completing KareKano and FLCL and those come first, but it's shortly after that on The List.
