Well, ok, i've seen some of that, but it doesn't strike me as shonen-ai, since the series isn't about a guy-guy romance...it just implies stuff, with Shido and Cain....I guess it depends on your definition of Shonen-ai...meh...SQ wrote:I see you haven't seen the flashbacks of Mr. Shido and Cain, yet. =|

Twilight of the darkmaster is fairly horrible.
And isn't there an anime with "Necromonicon" in its name that's all extra gory?
I second Pet Shop of Horrors and Boogiepop.

No one has mentioned Serial Experiments Lain!? INTOLERABLE
Both Vampire Hunter D movies might work, although the second one (Bloodlust) has a romantic layer on it that might make people go "Ehh..." The first one is straight action/horror.
But the death scenes for some characters in Bloodlust were damn cool, nonetheless. 8) Yar har har...

Re: Halloween Anime
I showed Bakukken (Combustible) Campus Guardress to my anime club for Halloween. It's a romance comedy/horror apocolypse anime. 4 episode OAV. It's a really good one to show if you can find it. I don't think it will ever be released in the US. Definetely one of my favorites.Propyro wrote:The anime Club at my school is looking for stuff to show at our meeting right before halloween. i'm wonderig if you guys can suggest anything.
Hellsing, and Vampire hunter D and bloodlust have already been suggested and will probalbly be shown. I was thinking maybe Berserk would fit but haven't suggested it yet.
Any one else have any suggestions for halloween anime? Non-hentai perfered.
