Teen Titans even managed to get Puffy Ami Yumi to do their theme song

Exactly what I was going to say. :?

But in all honesty I'm gonna say I like both. It's true...not everything animated or ever was animated in the US is like Totally Spies. I admit I like "Hey Arnold," the only toon on Nickelodeon that I'll stop channel surfing for, X-men, Spider-Man and I am a Disney fan (just because the most recent stuff is under par doesn't mean it ALL is).

I'm not going to automatically like/hate something just because it came from a certain country. :?

I don't know. I think classic cartoons from Warner Bros, such as the Bugs Bunny Merry Melodies are great, the humor transcends age, since its audiance was not geared exclusively for children (for its time some of these cartoons were infact a bit risque)

So true. And did you know that some of the cartoons gave subliminal messages of joining in order to fight in World War II.

Is this a rhethorical question?

Or just an attempt to find something to flame at?

Geez... personally, as much as I dislike most cartoons, I don't believe it's in any way fair to be having this sort of a discussion around here.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I'll have to admit that Disney's 'Recess' roxors my boxers in ways that make me giggle threw the night.

Itchy and Scratchy beating Hitler with a board with a nail threw it is not subliminal. It's superliminal!

The word 'anime' is borrowed from French.

anime... of course

Post by hanamiyuzakura » Tue Nov 11, 2003 4:44 pm

and japanese anime at that...i hate when american animators try to create good anime...its so dumb...oh well, i think american animation is pretty bad, and plots in shows are worse...don't get me started about storylines....of course bad story lines are in all tv shows, but you would think they could do a little better

 just a crazed fan of all things anime
