Your english is fineValor2002 wrote:First of all, i wanna apollogise for my bad english. I am a real Anime Fan. But i dont know a lot of em. I have seen Berserk completly. NGE + The End of NGE and Vision of Escaflowne. Ghost in the Shell, Golden Boy, Cowboy Beebop. So i wanna ask you if you can tell me some more very good animes.
Berserk, NGE, Escaflowne, Golden Boy, and Cowboy Bebop. It sounds to me that youve already seen some really great animes. A lot of people in here are simply citing every single anime they've ever seen, which is too much information. I mean, go ahead, watch em all (if you can), very few animes I have seen I felt were "bad" when I saw them.
It would be helpful if you told us what your favorite anime was so we could take that into consideration...
Anyway, heres the best of the rest (I VERY HIGHLY recommend these):
Ranma 1/2 (160+ eps) (best subbed)
Inuyasha (130+ eps and counting) (best ~dubbed)
Full Metal Panic (24 eps) (best subbed)
Love Hina (25 eps +OVAs) (best subbed)
Outlaw Star (26 eps) (best ~dubbed)
Trigun is ok. (best ~dubbed)
Kenshin is ok. (best subbed)
X is ok. (sub = dubbed)
Chobits is ok. (best subbed)
Hellsing is ok. (best subbed)
The good subbed animes can be downloaded either of off kazaa or bittorrent. If you want anime dubbed, either make lots of anime friends, find a rental place that rents lots of anime (rare), or start spendin cash for the dvds.
Oh and yeah, Tokyo Bablyon IS a prequel to X (dont trust american anime campaigning, "they" also said Ninja Ressurection was a sequel to ninja scroll). It ties in very nicely with the X television series, and makes it much better, because it serves to further develop X's two most interesting characters, Subaru and Seishiro. Tokyo babylon ends on a fortuitous note, which nicely sets up the very begginning (episode 0) of X-tv.
X the movie is trash. Disturbing trash (I own it, and tommorow its going in the trash). Its worth seeing if you really liked X the TV series, just like Escaflowne the movie. Like the Escaflowne Movie, it pretty much condenses the whole series into one movie. It might ruin the series, so watch it after the series. It (X movie) has excellent animation for 1996 (vintage madhouse).
Um, I wasnt impressed. Where I come from thats run of the mill, lol. Seriously, sit down and watch 2 anime series a month and you'd probably be running his pace. I've only been seriously into anime for a little over a year and I've seen about that much.shinji13 wrote:WOW ... ... u've seen all that, man thats a lot of anime ... that just shows that u a true anime fan ...

i'd give u a giant foreboding list that would probably crash your computer even if it were the newest on the market....but instead i shall name 3 anime...
1.Azumanga Daioh
2.Kanon
3.Wolf's Rain ...well more like ANYTHING from BONES.
i cant rent any anime...but i can d/l a series in less then a week so its all the same then i watch them in about 3 days per series so i pretty much go through a whole series every 1-2 weeks depending on football and other school things.

Kanon is kind of almost a hardcore anime fan recommendation, but a very good recommendation just the same. Its a very underrated anime.TallonKarrde23 wrote:i'd give u a giant foreboding list that would probably crash your computer even if it were the newest on the market....but instead i shall name 3 anime...

I've been wanting to see Azumanga Daioh for a little while now, I really like the character designs. Is it a romantic comedy? A shojo or shonen anime? Why do you like it so much? I plan on seeing it eventually but if you pitch it to me well I might see it sooner rather than later.

azumanga isnt ANYTHING...literally. No love story....no...story at all. Its not any kind of comedy other then just...comedy. The only plot/story of the show is it is the life of 5 MAIN (and some others) students in all three years of highschool and also that of 3 teachers. The only thing that keeps you knowing when it is is what events are going on, their clothing, and such. But yeah its literally pure comedy. Never seen a show like it...ive seen other comedy's but they are always SOMETHING comedy but no..this is just...pure, 100%, no preservatives, comedy. oh and randomness which is part of comedy. --; TOMO OWNS and so does Osaka but meh. Thats a short summary of what it is i know but normally i'll either make one that is way long or this size...so this is waht u get cuz im tired.kearlywi wrote:Kanon is kind of almost a hardcore anime fan recommendation, but a very good recommendation just the same. What I own. Yes I know not all of those are anime, some are music and movies, just ignore those.

i would buy boxsets but i dislike waiting for them to come out, and sense the first dvd or so comes out before a box set im stuck buying individual dvd's. Though a majority of the time i'll just buy the box set and sell the individuals --;Vlad86 wrote:Hmmm, I seem to buy more boxsets than individual dvds...it saves more money in the long run afterall...
Except when individual Hellsing discs come with limited repaint figures......
Also, I'd have more, but I've been spending the last month saving for a Japanese PS2...
