i say swords are my favorite but i do bow to the destructive power of some guns which is why if i could choose a weapon it would be a gunblade from ff8 those things rock and are a nice compromise, but then again there is the dragon slayer from berserk, that thing is definityl the coolest sword i've seen in a long time!

I would say the body is the best weapon....there is just something about two really good ppl fighting togeather that is almost like art......any sort of weapons are cool to watch as well as they are really just extensions of marital arts in general. I weapon of choice is a one-ended bladed staff as you get the benifits of reach of staff and the leathal nature of bladed weapons, plus the katta's are really impressive. But in anime there generally aren't too many really good choreographed hand to hand scenes that don't involve some sort of "magic" involved.

You people can go with your guns and swords but I am gonna have to says Hand2Hand all the way, Why would you need a gun or a sword if you can brutally mame someone with your bare hands, it must save alot of money for people who don' t use any of that stuff! MeLeE!!!!!!

The same could be said for swords "The pointy end goes into the other man".RyanGlazner wrote: Yeah, swords are hard to use (limited experience), but my point was that people were making guns sound really easy.. like "just point and pull trigger, right? "
