And back on topic: I am not, was never and never will be interested in having a gf, let alone a social life. Not like I could have one, anyways.

In terms of choosing a colleague, city and employer, I would definitely go anime.

Profession: same as my major, of course. Gundam engineer and software architect! Where BSOD (stop error) is literal!

... i dont think that will be happening in the near future but a person can wish cant they ... Yeah i prefer a real girl that has some similarities to some anime character ... it would be nice, but to have my girl dress up like an anime character ... well that would be just a bit to scary to me ... i want my girl to be herself and not be like someone else... but oh well some people like different things ...

I'm actually surprised that question was as popular as it turned out to be.

Well, for my answer, I'd have to say human. If an anime character could exist as a true human being in this world, that would be cool. However, no anime character comes close to my standards (mainly, an American of European descent, which doesn't do the whole girly fanservice crap, but doesn't start slapping people when she's pissed).

... if she doesnt, wow u sure got some really HIGH standards ... oh well anywaysl i wouldnt want a gurl slapping me around when she is mad ... that wouldnt be my type of person ... someone more kind and gentle ... 8)

Ok, we're going into stereotypes here. I'm not gonna argue this though. Cause I'm lazy, and this particular argument rarely goes anywhere. Like religious debates.

As for me, anime, definately. Lum, for a first choice. Yes, I'd get zapped sometimes, but Ataru manages, so I can to. And she can fly and do neat things, the alien visitors and space stuff *has* to be fun when you get used to it, and she's really cute. The jolts are worth it.

On the other hand, my last real gf was sort of pretty, hit me(not hard, though she was almost black belt, so she could have) sometimes, manipulated my mind and emotions the rest of the time, had a very low self image, cheated a few times(my god, what was I thinking with forgiving those incidents), was needy, made me feel guilty anytime I had to go to work, school, or anything else. And we did have some fun, but we didn't share many interests, and I had a better time overall when I was single. Needless to say, unless anime characters start coming to life for me to date, I'm gonna be single for a loooonng time.

Second choice probably be Nuku Nuku. Similar excitement as Lum, quite cute also, but no shocks. Just missiles fired into the bedroom each morning.
