Wow...who knew. Seriously, I never thought of .hack//SIGN being rated R. Why, though? Is there violence, language, nudity, sexual things?? Sorry, but for some reason I find that so shocking. ^^;;;
Yeah, Cartoon Network edits a lot of things, but only because they have too. Remember when Tenchi Muyo! was on there? Talk about MAJOR editing with that one! ^^;

No, I don't mean unedited it's rated R, I mean The video store in it's perverted homosexuelness slaped an R sticker on the box, 18A actualy. The version the comes on Cartoon network is UNEDITED! See my point, there just being tards, and by that I mean GOD DAMN DIRTY ROTTEN BASTARDS!

Most anime doesn't have ESRB ratings, only the ones that actually appear in movie theaters do, so most have "suggested" ratings from the company that realeased them.
The Blockbuster you went to must of been very anti-anime or something, because at mine I rented VHD:Bloodlust and it had a PG: 13 rating.

Yea, I took a look at all my Anime last night and to my surprise most of it didnt have any rating .. but i did find one that was rather interesting. Tenchi Muyo! the OVA .. Rated for 13 and up .. if uv ever seen it ull know that Ryoko and Ayeka-Sama get naked and Sasami-Sama is in the Spring, she just dont get out much more than shoulder height.
As for Blockbuster or Hollywood Video, i never seen anime there. I dont know if its just the demographics or what (im probebly not lookin in the right spot), but i never try to find it there. I always go to Frys Electronics or Suncoast. they got the 2 biggest selections that I know of.
