Where are you getting your information? Because your picture was not accurate at all . . . you haven't posted any links.
Don't you hate it when people describe something as "cute" when they really mean "God, I want to fuck that"?

(to original poster)
I think I'm going to disregard anything you say from now on since you've done nothing but shoot off bull....yep...

Even if it sucks, it will put the asian live action version to shame. This I know. If anyone has a chance at making a GOOD live action DBZ Movie, it's the US, not Japan. They got the Animation, but we own them in Live Action....

The Proof!!!

Post by Kenshin8518 » Sat Jan 10, 2004 9:51 am

ok, here are some places i have gotten my info from (the casting and that was from the old Atari Community. They had a DBZ section there, and the mods posted info they got from 20th centruy fox, so i would send you the link, but all of that is gone now):

http://www.dbz.com

Oh, and here is their poster, from IGN films:

Here is an old quote from FUnimation:
"The heroes from your favorite series are headed to the big screen. 20th Century FOX announced the acquisition of feature film rights to the “DragonBall” property, and is planning for its studio division, FOX 2000, to develop a live action movie based on the property. This is very exciting news for Dragon Ball Z fans. FUNimation Vice President and Producer Daniel Cocanougher had this to say:“FUNimation is very excited to be working with FOX in their production of a live-action Dragon Ball Z Feature Film. FOX plans to place this movie on a fast-track production schedule, and may have a movie released as early as Fall 2003 or Summer 2004. FOX is an excellent movie studio, producing such huge hits as X-Men and Star Wars, among many others.

They feel that this project will not end with one movie, but will become a major, multi-picture franchise like Star Wars. Clearly, this is a remarkable upward turning point for the Dragon Ball Z property. It will also be very interesting for all Dragon Ball Z fans to try to predict the names of the stars, the director and producers, and the storyline that will be used. FUNimation plans for its web site, www.dragonballz.com, to be the focal point of information on the production of the movie and all the fan events leading up to it. We would like to thank all the Dragon Ball Z fans worldwide for creating the excitement that allows such a major announcement as this—the new, completely original, live-action movie: Dragon Ball Z."
If anyone wants more proof, i can send them other links i have.....

As much as I hate to say it. That looks almost cool.

First, none of those articles address either your actor list or your false screencap.

Second, no one's disputing the existence of the DBZ Live Action movie, simply the info you posted on it.

Third, as to that movie poster--I'm betting it's fan-made. I've seen in floating around before without that little FOX icon in the corner and all references to it have been that it's fan made. The IGN article doesn't even arrive at a conclusion whether it's real or not. The author becomes even more suspect with the comment "the graphic design work is far above the usual fan-made fare – clearly the work of a professional designer". What the hell? The work of a professional designer? He's obviously never been to DeviantArt. I've seen many, many amature Photoshop artists who could pull off something far better than that poster.

There are tons of rumors out there. I say believe nothing unless it comes from FOX or the guy has a reputable source.

You should totally do a Linkin Park music video. :)
