Even Tarantino admited that Bill Bill will never rival his other movies, this was just a departue from the norm for him......he wanted to make a fantasy/reality based story culminating all his "junk" movie experience.
so dispell belief and watch a great comic book story with all the elements of a good beat-em-up!!! :D

the anime aspect was very very kool, its was a nice touch to the story and it fit in very well. we may never change peoples negative perception of anime, but at the end of the day, it is what it is....animated full feature movies...no holds barred!! Its left for us to put enough influence behind the industry in order to prevent the few closed minded folks from banning it alltogether.

KB2 (the final episode) is going to kick ass!!! i cant wait. :D :D

i didn't know that KB was based off a different story or that it was tarontino's out-of-norm project, i just thought it was awesome and the ppl who thought so too asked me about the anime when all they were used to was sailor moon and dbz.....so score a couple new recruits to anime fandumonium

I realised it was not the norm for him after watching it, but with it being a Tarontino film I had a certain expectation so I really couldn't help be slightly dissapointed by it. However now that I know what KB2 will be like, I might enjoy it more.

The animation in killboy was pathetic sorry it was. I don't think it gives any kind of spin on anime other than its really crappy animation. Kill bill is an ok movie but the susposed violent scenes were just cheesy.

I rented the movie last night and it was funny as hell. I loved how it was done, and the anime bits in it just cracked me up. Even the lines were funny.

If you are calling Kill Bill cheesy, then are you calling anime cheesy? What you saw in Kill Bill is no different than in any other violent anime.
