....krillin (klillin as they said his name in english) called Piccolo 'Big Green' and so did everyone else in the movie, including the announcer

and piccolo called his special beam cannon (maken-sumtin) a really really bad sounding name, so if FUNi had done it, i think they would have stuck with 'special beam cannon', and i doubt what piccolo/big green said in this bad dub was an accurate translation... but then again i don't know what piccolo's maken-sumtin translates to... i'd say it's 'Devil's Blast' but i think that's what his 'masenko' is

so i doubt the accuracy of this blue water studios... i need to learn japanese

Well their dub of DBGT was fairly accurate...

I hate watching the new English dubs. The originals with japanese subs were better.

What can I say Daio Kaji, I feel this way for everything out of the second US DBZ dub.

And, I don't know how accurate the GT dub is, but since they cut out the first 15 episodes of the series, I wouldn't bet that it's very accurate. I know that they will eventually go back and dub the episodes and release them, but as far as I'm concerned one of FUNi's most disturbing and insulting practices (outside of dubbing, of course) is how fragmented they release the episodes. Even if the FUNi DVDs had had the Japanese versions back when I got the DBZ series, I still would have gotten fansubs because the way they release the episodes is horrid, they just recently finished the Cell Saga and they already had a bunch of Buu saga tapes out. I feel sorry for anyone who might be trying to see Dragonball Z the right way and is just being the officail DVDs because it must have been hard waiting for the right episodes to be released.

well it wasn't recently, it was like last year, but you're still right, it's so stupid how the Cell Games DVDs/Tapes were released last, it makes no sense, sadly, my cousin (who was my source for the series) was collecting the Tapes (yeah i know... why tapes instead of dvds?) and he had to go through that process... i guess it made the series worth more for him since he'd waited for so long to see it completely
