I like the story of each character before they become Luffy's crew , my gf always cry when she saw Chopper's story episodes , and she saw those episodes a dozen of times

My fave characters are Zoro ,Sanji and yeah Chopper

Does anyone know how to contact Funimation? If they are making uncut DVDs of 4Kids POS dubs, I'd like to ask them to make One Piece ones, too. (and to do the same if 4Kids liscences Naruto or the original Kinnikuman).

ok, this may be a BIT spoiler, but im avoiding it.

have you people considered HOW theyre gonna destroy this show? i saw the vid of their version of the opening, and its already a death knell. sanji apparently has a candy cane in his mouth, and the lyrics are SHOCKINGLY pokemon like.

quick run down.

well have to cut zoro, pratically. he fights with swords, and bleeds a lot. his fights will NEVER stand.

sanji, his cigarrete kills it. i fear all the edits around him.

most of the villains will be drained to pale shadows of themselves, as they are so cruel in many ways. i think we can kiss off the Arlong arc altogether.


sigh, i just acnt go on with this rundown. its too depressing. the masses' first exposure to a witty, unique, clever show, and itll be Pirate Pokemon in their eyes.

sorry, i guess you dont know the rest of their plan. theyre dropping it into the laps of Fox, for the saturday morning lineup. its flat out doomed. have you seen that footage of their version of the "We Are" theme? it sounds JUST like pokemon. and i quote from one line. "it is my destiny, to be the greatest pirate the world has ever seen." and something in terms of editing has been done to sanji's cigarrette, very hard to tell just what.

im trying to imagine how theyre gonna do kuro. they will NEVER allow him through clean. Arlong arc is about destruction and death, i think it in entirety is gonna hit the cutting room floor. frankely, i dont know WHY they think they can get away with this. it is absurd.
