I'd love to see that! That'd be hilarious to see a marine fencing with a broom, while watching the drill sergeant shout orders. Then again...maybe it wouldn'tGogetasan85 wrote:Me bieng an anime fiend I like to eat ramen and miso soup.i also eat sushi and practice sword drawind techiques with my broom. And i punch and kick my wall 200 times a day to act like rock lee from naruto

Can't remeber what it's called though....
That's got to be one of the most racists questions I've heard in these forums yet.
Seriously, thank you for trying to help me out. That's was a very nice gesture.
AHH! No, I read your post wrong. I thought it said 'an island off of Japan' and not Hawaii. I read it too fast, then. Sorry about that!

If you mean the beer, then hell yes. It's awesome. As is Kirin Ichiban.Gogetasan85 wrote: Has anyone ever tasted sapporo??
If you mean the city in Japan on the other hand, then no, I've never tasted it. ^_^
Damn this thread went off topic in a hurry

Can't say that I've ever tried to emulate a specific character from anything, anime or otherwise (except dressing up for Halloween and once or twice for legitimate acting). I don't try to act Japanese for the sake of acting Japanese either.
I like Japanese food, but I also like Chinese, Korean, and Indian (not to mention non-Asian foods). I guess I just like food. =) I like anime and manga (and AMVs ), but we're looking at that as a cause rather than an effect here... I don't try to dress or behave Japanese or anything like that.
I've been thinking of trying to learn Japanese and/or taking up Kendo, but I'm afraid that it might just be because I've especially been watching a lot of anime recently. ^_^ I don't want to do it for the wrong reasons. Plus, if I don't do it for the right reasons then it's harder to stick with it.
I've pondered vacationing... and I think China would actually be more interesting to go and vacation and be touristy. But Japan might be better to go and stay a while, like for a whole summer or something. Doesn't matter really, I can't afford to do either!
