I must agree with Gatsthedarksword, FF6 is still the best of the FFs. AND I LOVED THEM ALL!!!! But FF6 delivered the best overall experience. 14 CHARS!!!! 14 CHARS!!! And you could have ANY 4 people in your party!! And the idea of having multiple parties in a single dungeon that you could switch between in real-time IS COOL!!! FF7 was a great breakthrough though! MANY MANY COOL IDEAS!!! If only Square would combine Espers and Materia into one system..... THE MAGIC WAS USELESS IN FF7 SINCE AERIS DIED!!!! I beat the game using no magic literally!!! The summons looked cool, but it take too long before they weren't even worth using. In, FF6 though, the MAGIC WAS VERY USEFUL!! AND THERE WERE ALOT MORE SPELLS TOO!!!! Of course, Summons were a hell of alot useless in FF6.. but we didn't use them anyways! FF8 brought a very nice cinematic experience!! The magic was kinda useless still!! The GFs were useful though! Not sure about FF9... as it was kinda boring... FFX WAS A GREAT COMEBACK!!! EVERYTHING WAS USEFUL!!!! THIS GAME MADE YOU USE YOUR HEAD FINALLY!!!! TACTICS AND PLANNING WERE A MUST!!!! GREAT JOB!!!! The Story almost seems like a religion though.... which really isn't bad... And Blitzball was almost as bad of an idea as "The Spirits Within".... (Can you find the kid in one of the towns that says "I wanna be a Blitzball when I grow up"? It's a funny typo!) A real-time sports game would've been alot cooler!

Anyways... despite the fact the FF6 is probably the best FF.... I think FFX would make an awesome 3D animation movie while FF7 would make an awesome Anime movie!!! Yeah!!! I have to congratulate you if you actually read all of this!

Actually, they should make FF7 into a Record of Loddos War-type series! That worked out real well! AHHHH!!! They should take ALL of the FF chars and make a brand new HUGE-many-episode series! Could you imagine Omnislash vs Lionheart?! Sabin vs Auron!! OK..... maybe they wouldn't fighting each other.... but it still be cool to this huge 100+ char FF party running around with this very complex BRAND-NEW story busting up BRAND-NEW and old enemies with BRAND-NEW and old Spells and Specials and Summons!! Maybe the story could be about ressurection Aeris because Sephiroth and Kefa and Ultimicia and Sin and *FF9 Final Boss Here* are planning to summon *Name of Ultimate Doomsday destroy the world spell here* and Aeris is the only one who could unsummon or something like that..... no?.... Well.... still.. having all the FF chars in one huge Anime adventure would be very awesome! It worked for Disney chars and Brand-New Square chars..... well.. that was a game... but still!!!

Yeah I think FFI through FFX were the best. It's pretty annoying when someone says, "Yeah FF__ was the best by far. ____ could kick ____'s ass any time! And it had by far the best story line!"

It's not a stupid franchise if so many people like it. It makes money, how can it be stupid? Personally, I say the Nintendo ones were my favorites, but I liked the others as well.

Can't you just get it through your heads that each game appeals to people differently?

And on topic, I think VI or VII would make the best anime movie / OAV. And I do think Record of Lodoss War would be the best style.

Yes, each game appeals to everyone differently. I think that FF6 is the best because it defines what Final Fantasy really is about! Actually, the first one probably would do better at that... but still! FF6 was the most complete with alot and alot of stuff, and delivered a very diverse experience. The rest of FFs after kinda followed a close script and everyone played them the same, even though EVERY FF is very unique and COOL. I just think that FF6 is the one game that fully and truly is, Final Fantasy.

FF6's story was very well-explained and pretty cool.... but somehow.... I don't think it would make that good of movie... it might be kinda boring despite the fact that the game is really cool and addictive!!

Actually Clara, read what I was referring to more closely. I said can't be a stupid franchise if it makes money. So whether the product is bad or not, if it makes money, it's not a stupid franchise.

And temjin, something you might find funny. Freya's name is derived from Freyja, who is the Norse goddess of love and beauty. Man, either those Norse people were just really ugly or FF really screwed her up.

They messed her up real bad... cause she is very beautiful. Well.. if you see the pic her from the game Valkyrie Profile, which is based on Norse Mythology. (and a very COOL-unique-awesome-RPG it is, might I add! But they spell her name Freya too, not Freyja) Actually, I'm pretty sure that the Norse Mythologies describe her anyways. I think all the descriptions always say she has gold hair. I don't remember seeing her name spelt Freyja in the story I read though... hmm.. I'll look again.

Yeah... those FF songs are awesome!! They all are actually!! I have the original FF6 ($40), FF7 ($50), and FF8 ($50) Soundtracks!! I plan on getting the FFX ($55) Origingal Soundtrack eventually.

But why did you suddenly bring up FF music anyways?

Final Fantasy ?!? Wtf i dont think it should be turned into anime cuz its good the way it is. Plus it would make the rest suck if it was in anime form. Why the fuck are we talkin bout Final Fantasy in a anime forum anyways?
