Overrated anime

Cowboy bebop got insanly repeditive at times.

Kenshin was the same crap over and over, and by the end you started wondering if the people who wrote it where just recycling the same script.
And the ova's where crap in my opinion. Besides the animation, they where just a waste of dvd space.

Evangelion, while still great, is entirly too contrived, but it's really not the anime I have something against. It's ADV pumping out remakes of said anime... VHS, DVD, Remastered dvds... FUCKING JUST QUIT IT =O.

AniMatrix... WAY too hyped, WAY to bad.

Bastard and Hellsing... They both are way just... WAY too overrated.

Just my opinion.

Not. Pfft a weak list like that couldn't end a fly.... even if lists had the ability to end flys.

Technically speaking, anything can be overrated...it all depends on whose rating it.

I'm sure that for some people a show like DBZ is like the greatest thing since slice fucking bread, but to someone else, it might just seem like, "Eh, not that big a deal." It all just depends on the person.

Inu seems to be a bit over rated. A lot of the anime on CN is over rated.

Rurouni Kenshin-I started out on the OVA so once I saw the tv series after billions of people made such a big deal, it just failed to deliver

Cowboy Bebop-I enjoy the series and all just it's extremely overrated. I mean it's a pretty generic bounty hunter series, people wouldn't have thought it was so great if it hadn't been for the ending and a few select episodes

EVA-Gainax has done better things, I mean I enjoyed the series but it's not my favorite. It was breakthrough for the time but it didn't get really good until the very end. And all the hype surrounding Rei is just annoying.

Lain-people just say they like it so they can look all intelligent and pretentious. It's a series I only wanted to watch once, there was little reviewability

Hellsing-It was a decent series just it isn't as great as everyone says it is. I saw it and was like...uh..that's it?

I guess it all depends on how the anime hits you. Like I love Chobits, Akira, and Eva, and don't find them overrated, but a lot of people love Trigun and Hellsing, such as my brother, and I personally thing they're are just pretty good its nothing that blows me away. But anyway the anime I think that is overrated is
Ninja Scroll,
Cowboy bepop (I saw this on Cartoon Network so I don't knwo what they cut out),
Ghost in the Shell,
FLCL (Although I can undserstand people liking it for its weildness)
